Meet Our Broker
Naseer Khan
Naseer is the broker and founder of Polaris Financing. Since starting in the lending industry in 2001, Naseer has experienced all of the highs and lows associated with mortgages. While he was in college at UC Davis, Naseer worked for his sister who was a mortgage broker. After graduating university, he worked for a correspondent lender and real estate developer, where he ran the lending department and was involved in all aspects of lending, from initiation to selling the loans to investors.
Nevertheless, since he was young, Naseer wanted to be a lawyer, so he moved to San Diego in 2007 to attend law school. During law school, he worked for a real estate investment firm where he handled the investment agreements and purchase contracts. After graduating law school and passing the bar on his first try, Naseer decided to obtain one more law degree and received a Masters in Tax Law.
Since then, Naseer worked several projects representing mortgage borrowers who were defrauded during the Great Recession by large banks. He worked as a foreclosure consultant where he helped defrauded borrowers receive compensation for their losses related to predatory lending. He even worked on several class action suits to help borrowers recover lost funds, as well as enforcing California’s Homeowners Bill of Rights.
Having experienced both ends of the lending spectrum has given Naseer much perspective about ethical lending and ensuring that borrowers are able to fulfill their mortgage obligations. As a mortgage broker, his goal is to help borrowers achieve the dream of homeownership, while reducing the risk of default and payment shock.
Naseer is joined by a team of mortgage professionals that have been in the mortgage industry since 1999, and they bring all of their expertise to Polaris Financing, along with their compassion, tenacity and a stark ability to find solutions to any hurdle that presents itself.
